Injuries to the Shoulder – £1,100 to £35,750
£1,100 – £3,300 may be awarded for soft tissue injuries if complete recovery is made within one year.
£3,300 – £6,050 may be awarded for soft tissue injuries if complete recovery is made within two years.
£6,050 – £9,650 may be awarded for frozen shoulder that causes discomfort and limits movement for up to two years.
£9,650 – £14,300 may be awarded for shoulder dislocation that involves damage to the lower part of the brachial plexus, causing symptoms that include: pain in the shoulder and neck, ache in the elbow, sensory symptoms in the forearm and hand, and a weakened grip. The same applies to a fractured humerus that results in restriction in movement of the shoulder.
£14,300 – £35,750 may be awarded for severe injuries to the shoulder that are often associated with neck injury. This may include damage to the brachial plexus and permanent significant disability.
£3,850 – £9,350 may be awarded for a fractured clavicle or collar bone.
